Are you at the top of your game?

Being at the top of your game is great.  It takes a lot of effort to get there and you deserve your success - you've worked hard for it.  But staying at the top of your game is hard too.  Because competition is fierce.  Because what got you there might not be what you need to stay there.  Because the only constant is change and it can feel like you are constantly on 'the next big thing' or the latest priority.  It's like a constant marathon.

Even if you don't mind the hard work, staying at the top can take it's toll and sometimes it is hard to spot the warning signs until it's too late.  It can lead to burnout, or even breakdown.  Both of which will have you out of action for many months.  And when you're a hard worker it is so easy to not notice this slippery slope.

What you need are strategies to make life easier so you can enjoy the fruits of your labours with less effort and more balance in your life.  Being at the top can be challenging and it helps to have someone objective to act as a sounding board, to provide support and solutions and who really understands the pressures you face.  Not because you are week.  But because you are strong and wise and know that you are your best asset.
